- co-ordinate, monitor and support work across the Diocese to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030
- have an interest in tackling climate change and wider environmental issues
- administer the legal and practical process for the disposal of closed churches
- provide administrative support and advice to committees overseeing local church structures
- have experience of managing administrative processes
- This is either two part time positions, (14 hours per week for Net Zero and 21 hours for Pastoral & Closed Churches) or one full-time position, 35 hours a week.

We're excited to offer a flexible opportunity with the Diocese of Carlisle. We’re hiring for two distinct roles, Net Carbon Zero Officer and Pastoral & Closed Churches Officer, which can be filled individually or combined into a single full-time position for the right candidate

Salary: £29,826 FTE plus a 15% pension contribution.
