Partnership Agreement
The Partnership Agreement provides a medium for the DBE and Church of England Schools to stay connected through active support mechanisms. The vast majority of our 104 schools have partnered with us through this agreement (see link below) and we welcome requests from those schools to add, change, develop and improve our offer in ways that will benefit our school communities - please get in touch with laura.watson@carlislediocese.org.uk if you would like to discuss our evolving offer.
Schools that sign up for the package can expect
- more support with school improvement and day-to-day issues including those related to Church school character and purpose in particular
- a wide range of free and reduced cost training courses for school leaders and governors available throughout the year and
- discounts such as preferential rates at Education Conferences.
"Church schools have always encouraged young people to journey deeper into God—an offer open to young people of all faiths and none. Schools are an important part of our diocesan strategy ‘God for All. This agreement outlines the support you can expect from the diocesan team and I commend the additional packages of support on offer to help your school develop and grow." The Bishop of Carlisle
